Institute (Institute Research and Writing Programs) Description
The 2008 research institute will help participants cultivate the view of WPA work as an opportunity for research by helping them to create, develop, and refine plans for a specific program-based research project. We will consider the question "What is (Program) Research?" and will discuss topics such as developing research questions, designing appropriate methodologies for investigating them, and working with Institutional Review Boards. We will also discuss some models and exemplars of program-based research. Led by Irwin Weiser and Meg Morgan.
