I would like to ask you for any suggestions on how to create a wholistic writing assessment rubric for first-year university writing students. I'm intrigued by Vicki Spandel's 6-Trait Writing Assessment Methodology as outlined in "Creating Writers;" however, if possible, I would like adapt a methodology like that to my first-year university writing students who are learning argument.
At the same time, my students are working to master some of the fundamentals of edited
American English. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much.
