Columbia University Undergraduate Writing Program in the Department of English and Comparative Literature invites applications for Lecturers in Discipline to begin July 1, 2014. Lecturers will teach first-year writing and provide leadership in theme-based writing course development. One-year appointment with the possibility of renewal for up to five years contingent on satisfactory performance.

Senior Lecturer in Discipline or Lecturer in Discipline (English, Rhetoric/Composition or related field)

Columbia University, Department of English and Comparative Literature invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Discipline or Lecturer in Discipline in English, Rhetoric/Composition or related field, to begin July 1, 2010. This is a full-time appointment with multi-year renewal contingent on successful review. The successful candidate will serve as Director of the Undergraduate Writing Program.
