The Writing Program offers required first- and second-year writing courses to NYU Shanghai’s academically outstanding and globally minded students from around the world. NYU Shanghai invites applications for full-time Lecturer positions to teach English for Academic Purposes to academically outstanding students from around the world. Designed as thematically-focused freshmen seminars, these advanced courses will teach integrated skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening), with an emphasis on academic speaking and listening comprehension. Lecturers teach 6 sections (or their equivalent) in a two-semester course sequence, and may participate in proficiency or placement testing, and other program activities.
The Writing Program at NYU Shanghai invites applications for full-time Lecturer positions to teach writing to academically outstanding students from around the world. Lecturers teach six sections (or their equivalent) of introductory or intermediate writing courses (3 sections/semester). These writing courses are integrated into the writing and cultural foundations elements of the core curriculum. Lecturers also provide mentorship to writing fellows and participate in faculty development programs.
