The Council of Writing Program Administrators is committed to ensuring a diverse, inclusive, and supportive environment in which WPAs, the instructors in the programs they direct, and the students in those programs can continue to thrive and learn. Consequently, we are committed to explicitly acting against any programs, policies, or other structures in society and schools that produce inequality, division, exclusion, or unfair advantage to any one group by luck of birth.

Multilingual Writing Specialist, Northeastern University, Boston, MA

We are very pleased to announce the search for a new colleague to join the Northeastern University Writing Program, a 2014 CCCC Certificate of Excellence awardee. This 12-month staff position is intended to support multilingual writers, both directly through tutoring in our Writing Center and indirectly through workshops and faculty development with Writing Program instructors and others in the university. Instructor of Writing and Rhetoric; Associate Director of FYW

The Department of Writing and Rhetoric at St. Edward’s University invites applications for a three-year renewable, non-tenure-track Associate Director of First-Year Writing position to begin Fall 2017. The successful candidate will assist the Director of First-Year Writing and will teach general education writing courses as well as classes in our established undergraduate writing major. Emporia State University invites application for a full-time instructor position in the composition program beginning August 2017. The teaching load for the instructor position is 12 hours per semester (a four-course teaching load) with a nine-month contract. Teaching and service are required.
