The Womenâ€™s Studies Program at Purdue University invites applications for the position of Director, effective August, 2006. The Womenâ€™s Studies Program, established in 1979, is an interdisciplinary academic program in the College of Liberal Arts. The program offers an undergraduate major and minor and a graduate minor curriculum. Courses are offered in feminist theory; interdisciplinary studies in sexualities; gender and multiculturalism; and global feminism, as well as a variety of specialized and advanced courses in areas of faculty interest. The program currently has eight joint-appointed faculty and more than 40 affiliated faculty and has received strong support from the College of Liberal Arts.
