The editors of WPA: Writing Program Administration seek proposals for a variety of historical works to be included in a special issue of the journal to appear in summer 2019. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of WPA as a peer-reviewed publication and celebrate this journal’s evolutionary and revolutionary contributions to the field of writing program administration, we encourage proposals for the following:
Lecturer, English Composition
The Department of Writing at Grand Valley State University seeks to fill a full-time (9-month) Visiting Faculty position beginning in August 2018. The ideal candidates will focus their careers on teaching general education writing courses and on continuously developing their professional expertise as writing instructors. An MFA or PhD in Rhetoric/Composition, English, Writing or closely related field is required by time of employment, and graduate coursework in rhetoric and composition is desired.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Department of English seeks applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and Writing Studies beginning Fall 2018. Primary responsibilities include teaching in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Desired specialties include one or more of the following: digital and multimedia rhetoric, online pedagogies, research methodologies, history of rhetoric, multilingual writing, technical communication, and writing program administration.
