Travel Grant Award Winners
CONGRATULATIONS to our four travel grant award recipients, who were honored at the Wednesday evening CWPA Reception.

We invite applications for the position of Master’s Student Representative in the Writing Program Administrators Graduate Organization (WPA-GO) for the 2016-17 academic year (minimum). Position will become effective July 2016. The Master’s Rep position is an ex-officio position on the Graduate Committee.
BASIC WRITING PROGRAM, University of California, San Diego
The Division of Arts & Humanities, at UC San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body.
We are seeking applicants for temporary lecturer position(s) in Basic Writing (basicwriting.ucsd.edu). Appointment(s) may be part-time, full-time, quarterly or annual, with the possibility of renewal contingent on performance and funding availability. Positions available beginning the 2016/2017 academic year.
As an encore performance, the CCCC Committee on the Status of Graduate Students (SOGS) and WPA-GO are co-sponsoring Mentoring @ Cs (M@Cs) in Houston, Texas! We welcome mentees and mentors with a wide range of interests within rhetoric and composition. Mentors and mentees will meet at the conference to chat over free food and drinks (at an evening social and/or a light breakfast) and/or attend a session of mutual interest.
In July 2016, the Council of Writing Program Administrators (CWPA) Graduate Committee (GC) will say goodbye to members Logan Bearden (Florida State University), Christina LaVecchia (University of Cincinnati), and current Chair, Kat Daily O'Meara (Arizona State University).
