Tenure–track Assistant Professor and Director of Writing. Doctorate or ABD, completion within one year, in communication related field required. Experience with teaching introductory and upper division writing at the college level is also required. The positon is also responsible for directing, coordinating, budgeting, scheduling, and assessing writing instruction at all levels on the Montana Tech campuses. Successful applicants should demonstrate a commitment to student-centered learning and a knowledge of rhetorical principles, and their application to writing and writing instruction.

Embracing Innovation: Transcending Tradition in Twenty-First Century Higher Education
The Consortium for Critical Reading, Writing, and Thinking will present its fourth annual interdisciplinary conference on Friday, October 28, 2016. The primary objectives of this year's conference are to explore innovative pedagogical practices that both enrich and transcend traditional teaching methods, and to inspire a contemplative, cross-disciplinary dialogue regarding higher education in the twenty-first century.
If you have been considering requesting a visit to your writing program by a team from the WPA Consultant-Evaluator Service, I will be available at the upcoming conference in Raleigh to meet with you to discuss your goals for a visit and answer any questions you may have. We can arrange a meeting time in advance or seize a good opportunity sometime during the conference.

The English Department Writing Program of Northeastern University seeks to fill one or more benefits-eligible, full-time positions for Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors, beginning in September 2016. Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors teach first-year and advanced writing courses, including courses in writing for the humanities, the social sciences, the sciences, the health professions, the engineering and computer science professions, the business profession, and the criminal justice professions. Full-time teaching load is three courses per semester.
The Writing Program Administrators Graduate Student Organization (WPA-GO) & the Council of Writing Program Administrators (CWPA) are pleased to offer several travel grants of $100-200 each to current graduate students presenting at or in association with the 2016 Council of Writing Program Administrators Conference, to be held July 14-17 in Raleigh, NC.
