Madison Area Technical College located in Madison, Wisconsin, is currently recruiting for a full-time English Instructor. The position will begin in August, 2008.

Responsible for instruction in English at the college transfer, occupational, and developmental levels. Instructors create learner-centered instructional strategies, collaborative curriculum, and assessments for continuous improvement. Instructors participate in college service activities at the department, division and college levels.

Qualifications:

1. Master's degree in English/Composition and Rhetoric, comparable focus in English Education, or a closely related field.

2. One (1) year (2000 hours) of non-teaching work experience.
