About the University:
The University of Evansville (UE) was founded in 1854 and is located in Southwestern Indiana. About the Positions:
The University is inviting applications for part-time instructor positions in the areas of Composition and First-Year Seminar as part of an innovative program offering opportunities to incorporate experiential learning, including game-based pedagogy, to actively engage students with texts and ideas while refining their discourse practices. Instructors can teach from a pre-designed syllabus or may develop their own syllabi around the courses’ established learning objectives and assignment models. Preference will be given to persons with training in composition pedagogy and college-level teaching experience. Candidates with online/hybrid teaching proficiency is also desired.
Master’s degree in English, Literature, Creative Writing, Linguistics or related field.
Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in English, Literature, Creative Writing, Linguistics or related field.
Compensation: Commensurate with education, experience and departmental budget.
