An alternative to the “pound of flesh” FYW staffing metric

Abstract: 

I will describe an alternative staffing approach WPAs might take for full-time, non-tenure track faculty. WPAs can create responsibilities other than teaching for full-time, non-tenure track faculty, departing from the “pound of flesh” paradigm that dominates FYW programs and helps keep staffing so tenuous.
