Mis/Understanding Information Literacy: WPAs, Librarians, and the General Education Curriculum

Abstract: 

While librarians often bear the primary responsibility for Information Literacy (IL) in a general education curriculum, we argue that both librarians and WPAs shape institutional discourse about IL. This panel, composed of two WPAs and a librarian, examines our experiences promoting relationships among first-year composition, IL, and general education instructors.
