Assistant Professor of English, Composition and Rhetoric
The English Program at Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana, seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English (Composition & Rhetoric) beginning Fall semester 2013. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of writing courses at all levels, curriculum development, student advising, active scholarship, continuing professional development, and service to the program and the University, including Writing Program Administration. A doctorate with a specialty in Rhetoric and Composition and college teaching experience are required at the time of appointment. Preferred candidates will have a focus on research-based, academic and/or professional writing. Applications must be complete, including letters of reference, by November 30, 2012.
