In pursuit of this commitment, Arkansas State University - Jonesboro is currently recruiting for a tenure-track 9-month position, assistant level, Fall 2013. Specialist in Composition/Rhetoric to teach Comp I and II (frosh), Advanced Comp (jr), and comp/rhet graduate level courses. Position will also assist in writing program service. Desired secondary areas include creative writing fiction/nonfiction, technical/professional writing, and computer-enhanced writing pedagogy. PhD required by August 2013. Serious candidate will have strong education in comp/rhet theory and experience in teaching composition; preference given for candidates with significant scholarship, a requirement for tenure.
