Florida International University invites applications for a non tenure-track position (Instructor level) in the Writing and Rhetoric Program to begin Fall, 2013.
Required: MA in Rhetoric and Composition or in a related field; evidence of success in post-secondary composition instruction.
Desired: Terminal degree in Rhetoric and Composition or in a related field; graduate coursework in Rhetoric and Composition if degree in related field. Experience in one of more of the following areas is desirable: working with multi-lingual writers, teaching with technology, professional/technical writing, and scientific writing.
Responsibilities: 4/4 course load in the undergraduate writing program, including program service responsibilities. Nine-month appointment, beginning Fall 2013. Renewable contingent upon budget. Competitive salary and benefits.
