The Fort Lewis College Writing Program seeks applications for a Full-Time Visiting Instructor of Writing for a one-year appointment. The successful candidate will teach courses in our rhetoric-centered Writing Program, contribute to departmental service projects, and perform teaching-related professional development.
The position is for nine months, full-time, with a starting date of August 18, 2014. The position carries a 15 credit teaching load per semester consisting of 100 and 200-level composition courses. The position offers full benefits.
• An M.A. in Rhetoric and Composition or a closely-related field
• Minimum of two years teaching composition at the college level
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching
