TWO Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure Track Positions at The University of Findlay

The University of Findlay is hiring two tenure track positions and applicants are encouraged to apply for both positions if skills are similar. UF has a MA in Rhetoric and Writing (https://www.findlay.edu/liberalarts/Rhetoric/) and an undergraduate emphasis in general writing.

Position 1

The University of Findlay invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in English to begin in August 2016 in the College of Liberal Arts.

Candidates will be expected to teach courses in technical communication, science writing, rhetoric, and composition at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, the ability to teach digital humanities courses is desired. Candidates may also be asked to teach online or in hybrid classrooms. A Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or in English and prior college teaching experience is expected. Rank as assistant or associate professor and salary are commensurate with qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to student-centered education as well as scholarship and professional development.
