The University of Toledo Department of English Language and Literature invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant professor position in Rhetoric and Composition to begin August 2016. The successful candidate must have a strong grounding in the Rhetoric and Composition theory and practice; additional knowledge in business and/or scientific and technical writing and writing program assessment is desired. The candidate should demonstrate commitment to excellence in research and teaching and will have earned the PhD in Rhetoric and Composition or a related field by the time of appointment. Duties will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in writing theory and practice, as well as general education writing courses.
