Assistant/Associate/Full Professor - English
The Department of English at Lindenwood University invites applications for an assistant professor of rhetoric and composition. Teaching responsibilities include first-year and basic writing, as well as opportunities for teaching current and developing new upper-division rhetoric and composition courses for the new writing and professional communication minor program. Other courses possible, depending on the needs of the department. WAC/WID experience beneficial. Teaching course load is 4-4. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, dedication to teaching in a liberal arts environment, and evidence of an active research agenda. A PhD in rhetoric and composition is required by time of appointment. Qualifying degree(s) must be from an accredited institution or foreign equivalent.
