Senior Lecturer in English & Assistant Director of First-Year Composition

The Department of English, Speech, and Foreign Languages seeks applications for a renewable senior lecturer position. PhD in Rhetoric, Composition, English or closely related field required. The successful applicant will serve as Assistant Director of First-Year Composition to provide administrative support for a growing FYC program and teach a range of courses. We are a small, lively faculty that values collaboration and collegiality teaching on a diverse campus. We offer the BA in English, the MA in English, and the PhD in Rhetoric. The successful applicant will demonstrate ongoing engagement with the profession (professional development) and presentations; excellent teaching; successful mentoring; and a record of successful administrative work. Experience with dual credit and interests in basic writing or TESOL helpful.
