Professor of Composition and Rhetoric/Writing in the Disciplines at the University of Vermont. Tenured Associate or Full Professorship with tenure home in the Department of English, to be assigned full time as a teacher of teachers who will create and lead the university’s new four-year writing in the disciplines initiative. May also choose to teach an occasional undergraduate course or M.A.-level seminar in English. The Director of Writing in the Disciplines reports to the Provost. Ph.D. in suitable area and published scholarship in composition and rhetoric as well as experience in writing in the disciplines and/or first-year programs required.
