CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Artist as Activist in Appalachia University Press of North Georgia
The University Press of North Georgia seeks submissions for a collection entitled The Artist as Activist in Appalachia to be published in 2008.
This collection will include both creative and scholarly works that address social and environmental justice in Appalachia.
Creative genres could include, but are not limited to: creative nonfiction, drama, fiction, folklore, music, painting, photography, and poetry. Scholarly topics could include, but are not limited to: environmental justice, labor issues, political figures, or political movements.
