Part-time Lecturer, Professional Writing Program, University of Maryland

The Professional Writing Program (PWP), Department of English, University of Maryland, has several part-time openings for Spring ’08 primarily at our Shady Grove campus in Rockville, Maryland.

These courses are upper-level professional writing courses. Preferred candidates will have solid teaching experience, either at the college level or as professional trainers. In particular, we are interested in individuals with a background in rhetoric, science or business.

The spring semester begins January 28, 2008. Per section stipends are $3,820 or $4,140, depending on degree, and we offer full-time benefits to all adjunct faculty teaching two or more sections per semester.
