The College of Saint Rose announces a national search for a new Writing Center Director. The Writing Center is a key component in an undergraduate and graduate education committed to student writing. The Writing Center Director facilitates the development and implementation of academic services in writing across the College’s curriculum. In collaboration with academic and administrative departments, this position creates, implements, and delivers writing and reading workshops and programs to meet the needs of students and faculty.
The University of Pittsburgh Composition program invites applications for full-time lecturers to join an active and innovative program that houses first-year composition classes and a growing Public and Professional Writing major and certificate program. Colleagues teach a range of courses in the undergraduate composition curriculum, from first-year composition courses to intermediate and advanced courses. Full-time lecturers teach a 3/3 load, with some responsibility for administrative or committee work. Lecturers hired in this search will have a three-year renewable 8 month contract, starting in fall term 2019. Non-tenure-track faculty members are not eligible for tenure, but have paths to promotion.
