Stony Brook University’s Writing and Rhetoric Program is seeking one postdoctoral fellowship. The two-year fellowship, which comes with a possibility of a renewal for a third year, enables scholar-teachers in the field of writing and rhetoric studies to teach in an established program with opportunity to participate in a vibrant Writing Center, a strong workshop series, an annual Writing and Rhetoric Colloquium, and other areas related to the field. Fellows will teach two courses in one semester and three courses in the other semester and pursue their research and publication projects.
Multiple full-time lecturer positions available in the Writing and Rhetoric Program. Duties include teaching first-year and advanced composition and mentoring graduate students. One to three year renewable (10 month) contract. MA and three years of teaching experience required. Specialization in Rhetoric and Composition preferred.
