The Writing Initiative at Binghamton University, State University of New York, announces up to two full-time faculty positions at either the Visiting Assistant Professor or Lecturer level.

Lecturer in English (2 positions) - CUNY York College

York College, a senior college of the City University of New York, invites applications for two full-time Lecturers specializing in journalism and/or composition. Teaching assignments may include both introductory and advanced journalism courses, freshman composition, general education offerings, and other assignments. Applicants specializing in journalism should possess at least five years of recent experience writing and reporting for a multimedia platform news outlet, along with at least two years of college teaching experience in journalism.

Multiple Lecturer Positions: Writing and Rhetoric Program at Stony Brook University

Multiple full-time lecturer positions available in the Writing and Rhetoric Program. Duties include teaching first-year and advanced composition and mentoring graduate students. One to three year renewable (10 month) contract. MA and three years of teaching experience required. Specialization in Rhetoric and Composition preferred. Salary: $36,500 with an MA; $38,000 with a PhD. Summer employment opportunities also, as well as tuition remission and health and retirement benefits.
