The normal teaching load for tenured/tenure-track faculty at Ramapo is a 3/3. As Director of First-Year Writing, my teaching load is a 1/2. I am a considered faculty (not staff), and I'm on a 10 month salary (e.g. if summer work is availabe, I get extra pay for it). Since I just began this position in Sept. 2008, it is unclear how (or if?) I'll be compensated for any summer WPA work.
College Engish is a GenEd requirement at Ramapo that consists of a 1 semester argument-based writing course.
