USCB invites applications for a tenure track or tenured position in Composition and Rhetoric, beginning Fall 2016. We seek an energetic faculty member committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and university service. The successful candidate will teach a 3/3 load of first year composition and upper-division courses, will help us assess and develop curriculum in rhetoric and composition for First Year English and for our B.A. degree in English and our proposed B.A. in English Secondary Education, and will collaborate with the USCB Writing Center.

USCB is the newest baccalaureate degree granting campus of the University of South Carolina System. USCB is located in South Carolina's coastal islands, close to Hilton Head Island, Charleston, and Savannah, Georgia. USCB has two campus locations that serve a diverse student body of more than 1,800 undergraduate students.
