Assistant or Associate Professor, English The Department of English at Lewis University seeks a specialist in rhetoric/composition for a non-tenure track renewable position as an Assistant or Associate Professor. Rank will be determined by teaching and administrative experience, and publication record. Ph.D. in hand and three to five years teaching experience are required. Experience in administration also needed as position involves serving as Director of First Year Writing. The successful candidate will teach nine hours per semester and will also perform administrative duties related to standardizing the curriculum, supervising adjunct instructors teaching writing, and serving as a liaison to the university community. Additional administrative duties as needed. The Department particularly welcomes applications from minorities, women, and persons with disabilities.
