Department Chair sought at Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne

Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) invites applications and nominations for a senior scholar and educator for the position of Chair of the Department of English and Linguistics. The department has 24 tenure-track faculty with specialties in creative writing, film, folklore, linguistics, literature, and rhetoric and composition. Approximately 200 undergraduates and 20 graduate students are earning bachelor’s or master’s degrees from the department. IPFW is a campus of approximately 12,000 students located in the second-largest city in the state (approximately 200,000 residents)—an area that offers many cultural, recreational, and sporting opportunities.
