Post-Doctoral Fellowship Position: Writing and Rhetoric Program at Stony Brook University

Stony Brook University’s Writing and Rhetoric Program is seeking one postdoctoral fellowship. The two-year fellowship, which comes with a possibility of a renewal for a third year, enables scholar-teachers in the field of writing and rhetoric studies to teach in an established program with opportunity to participate in a vibrant Writing Center, a strong workshop series, an annual Writing and Rhetoric Colloquium, and other areas related to the field. Fellows will teach two courses in one semester and three courses in the other semester and pursue their research and publication projects. Required: candidates must hold the doctoral degree by August 2008 or have received the doctorate within the past three years, be strong writers, and have a strong interest in the teaching of writing.
