WE INVITE PROPOSALS FOR INDIVIDUAL PAPERS AND PANEL PRESENTATIONS RELATING TO THE THEME OF THIS YEAR’S CONFERENCE, WRITING PROGRAM IDENTITIES. WHAT ROLE DOES/SHOULD COMPOSITION PLAY WITHIN THE LARGER WORLD OF THE ACADEMY? SHOULD COMPOSITION PROGRAMS BE HOUSED WITHIN ENGLISH DEPARTMENTS OR SHOULD COMPOSITION BE CONCEIVED OF AS TRANSDISCIPLINARY? WHO OWNS COMP? WHAT AND HOW SHOULD STUDENTS BE LEARNING ABOUT COMPOSING WITHIN THE ACADEMY?
