York College, a senior college of the City University of New York, invites applications for two full-time Lecturers specializing in journalism and/or composition. Teaching assignments may include both introductory and advanced journalism courses, freshman composition, general education offerings, and other assignments. Applicants specializing in journalism should possess at least five years of recent experience writing and reporting for a multimedia platform news outlet, along with at least two years of college teaching experience in journalism. Applicants specializing in composition should possess at least two years of experience teaching freshman composition at the college level. Masters degree in Journalism, English, or other appropriate related field required.
