First-Year Writing Program
The First-Year Writing program invites qualified applicants to submit a c.v. and 1 page statement of teaching philosophy if they would like to be considered for part-time positions to teach our first-year writing course, ENG 1000c. All of our courses meet only one or two days a week (Mon/Thur or Tue/Fri).
Our First-Year Writing program is committed to helping first-year students nurture the rhetorical competencies and multiple literacies that will advance their own intellectual and social passions and purposes. You can find out more about us at: www.stjohns.edu/iws.
Applicants need to have an M.A, M.F.A., D.A., or Ph.D. ABD candidates are encouraged to apply if they have a Master's. Interested candidates should attach their c.v. and teaching statement in an email addressed to
