QEP Director (Composition & Rhetoric)
Mount Olive College invites applications for a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Director (12 month position) beginning spring 2011. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to serve an instrumental role in the development and implementation of the College’s QEP to improve students’ writing skills, including working with faculty, administrators, and students to shape the program. This individual may also teach one writing-intensive course per semester. The successful candidate should have excellent writing skills, demonstrate competence in assessment, and have experience working in program leadership. The QEP Director will serve as Chair of the QEP Committee and will report directly to the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. Masters in Composition and Rhetoric (or a related field) required, PhD preferred.
