One tenure-track position available for Fall 2012. Review of applications begins December 1, 2011 and will continue until the position is filled. Candidates must have a doctorate (ABD considered) in English education or related field and possess certification and three years teaching experience in English education. The person in this position will contribute to program development; advise and supervise graduate students; pursue an active research and publication agenda (including external funding as appropriate); engage in school and university service; maintain strong connections to area schools; and teach two master's level courses per semester in English education (pre- and post-certification), with opportunities to teach doctoral courses. Background in writing studies or literacy highly desirable.
