Sign Up for WPA-GO Research and Writing Group Sessions @ CWPA!

Sign up for our fourth annual Research and Writing Group (RWG) sessions! The RWG @ CWPA will take place on Thursday, July 20th, from 2pm-4pm at the 2017 CWPA Conference in Knoxville, TN. Registration will remain open until next Saturday, July 1st. This event will kick off the WPA-GO Scholars Maker Space and WPA-GO Town Hall!

The details: We are looking for writing program researchers at all levels and stages in their projects to take advantage of this opportunity. The RWG @ CWPA brings together writing program researchers (graduate students, faculty, administrators, independent scholars, etc.) to discuss the possibilities and implications of research related to writing program administration. The RWG @ CWPA invites emerging researchers to share current works-in-progress at various stages of completion (from brainstorming to revision). The goal is to form lasting research/writing groups between researchers across institutions. We are interested in advancing writing program-related research and unsettling and expanding what doing this kind of research might look like.

If you are interested in participating in the RWG @ CWPA, please fill out this Google form by July 1st:

Stay tuned for more info on an optional writing session in the morning of Thursday, July 20, where we’ll be setting goals and writing for three hours. Bring your dissertation, article, presentation, etc. From 2-4 p.m., we will have several great experienced scholars in the field facilitating small group discussions. This is an especially great opportunity for graduate students to meet others interested in similar work. *Additionally, all RWG participants will be entered to win one of five $100 travel grants!*

See you in Knoxville!
