Assistant/Associate Professor of English, Director of First-Year Composition
The Department of English, Speech, and Foreign Languages seeks applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for a Director of First-Year Composition to lead a growing program and to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. PhD in Rhetoric, Composition, English or closely related field required. We are a small, lively faculty that values collaboration and collegiality offering the BA in English, the MA in English, and the PhD in Rhetoric on a diverse campus. The successful applicant will demonstrate an active research agenda (including publications), excellent teaching, successful mentoring, and successful administrative work. Secondary interests in basic writing, TESOL, or an area of British literature helpful.
