Coordinator of First-Year Writing Tenure-Track Faculty Position

Blackburn College, a private liberal-arts college with a student-managed work program located in Carlinville, Illinois, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Coordinator of First-Year Writing.  Required qualifications include a Ph.D. in Composition, Rhetoric, or a closely related field, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and at least two years’ experience teaching First-Year Writing. Experience working in peer-tutor writing centers strongly preferred. Other preferred qualifications include experience teaching literature and interest in joining a campus community that promotes diversity, respect, and inclusion.
