At the Higher Education Creativity Conference co-sponosred by Arizona State University and Sichuan University in Chengdu, Sichuan Provincce of China, this past week, I had the great privilege of discussing how ASU Writing Programs has used the CWPA/ NWP/ NCTE Framework for Success in Postsecondary Writing to guide a discussion of what we value in student writing. My presentation at the conference focused on ASU Writing Programs teachers' work to articulate how we recognize, cultivate, and reward creativity in student writing.
