Writing Instructor Positions at Bowling Green State University
WRITING INSTRUCTOR POSITIONS ACADEMIC YEAR 2009-2010
The General Studies Writing Program at Bowling Green State University has been approved to fill two instructorship positions which are potentially renewable annually to three years. Potential for renewal for additional three-year terms. Each position carries a 24–hour load (typically four courses per semester) of General Studies Writing courses. The salary is competitive and benefits are provided. Renewable Instructorship: Three-year appointment with renewal contingent upon favorable performance evaluations. May be renewed for additional terms. 12-hour load per semester to teach composition courses in the General Studies Writing Program. Qualifications: MA or MFA in English; successful experience teaching college-level academic writing; training in rhetoric and composition. Experience in the teaching of developmental writing preferred.
