Position Announcement: The English department at Florida International University is hiring a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Rhetoric/Composition, with a secondary field in the long 18th c. Primary expertise must be in rhetoric and composition. Desired areas of interest include, but are not limited to, ethnic rhetorics, global Englishes, professional writing, and new media. Teaching will include undergraduate and graduate courses primarily in rhetoric/composition and, secondarily, in the long 18th century.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in English/Composition, record of scholarly activity, and college teaching experience. Experience teaching with technology is desired.
